Valentine's Myrrh Skills at 5★

Loving Breath

Might: 16 Range: 1
Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range. If foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Atk+X to unit and inflicts Atk-X on foe during combat (X = number of allies within 3 spaces of unit × 4, + 6; max 14), grants Special cooldown charge +1 to unit per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack), and restores 7 HP to unit after combat. If foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat and if unit's Res > foe's Res, reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by percentage = difference between stats × 4 (max 40%). If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res.

Armored Beacon

Cooldown Count = 3
Boosts Special damage by 40% of unit's Def. If foe's Range = 2 and unit or foe's Special is ready or triggered before or during this combat, reduces damage from foe's next attack by 40% (once per combat; excluding area-of-effect Specials).

Def/Res Scowl 4

If foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Def/Res+7 to unit during combat, and also, if foe's attack can trigger foe's Special and unit's Res ≥ foe's Res +5 during combat, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 on foe before foe's first attack. (Cannot exceed the foe's maximum Special cooldown.)

Canny Fighter

At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, inflicts Atk/Res-4 on foe, unit and foe cannot make a follow-up attack, reduces damage from foe's first attack by X% (if foe can make a follow-up attack, X = 80; otherwise, X = 40), and reduces damage from foe's follow-up attack by 40% during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes; likewise, "follow-up attack" normally means the second strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the third and fourth strikes), and restores 7 HP to unit after combat.

Darkling Dragon

At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Def/Res+6 and 【Warp Bubble】 to unit for 1 turn. At start of turn, grants Def/Res+6 and 【Warp Bubble】 to any support partner within 2 spaces of unit or, if unit is not on a team with unit's support partner, to ally with the highest Def within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn. If unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, inflicts Special cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack), and reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by 50% during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials). If a foe uses bow, dagger, magic, or staff and initiates combat against an ally within 2 spaces of unit, triggers 【Savior】 on unit. If unit triggers Savior, grants Atk/Def/Res+4 during combat.

◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws

See the IV Checker for All UnitsTrait Fruits—How to Change IVs

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Atk / -Spd

The best IVs for Valentine's Myrrh are +Atk and -Spd. Atk is a superboon and boosts her already high Atk from base 47 to base 51. The extra stats gained through the boon may be enough to swing some matchups and secure knockouts Myrrh may otherwise miss.

+Res is also a great boon due to both Loving Breath and Def/Res Scowl 4 having Res checks for their effects.

Spd is the ideal bane as Myrrh's Spd is unsalvageable. She will be outsped by a large majority of foes.

+Atk for a +10 Merge

We recommend +Atk when merging Valentine's Myrrh up to +10 to maximize her damage output as much as possible.

Valentine's Myrrh Roles, Strengths, and Weaknesses

Valentine's Myrrh Roles

Myrrh - Adored Dragon Roles
Close-Physical Ranged-Physical Close-Magic Ranged-Magic
Physical Wall Magic Wall Effective Weapon Movement Assist
Exclusive Skill All-Range Counter Recovery Refresher
Legendary Mythic Duo / Harmonized Resplendent

Valentine's Myrrh is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Valentine's Myrrh Strengths

Loving Breath is a great defensive weapon

Valentine's Myrrh Builds and Best IVs | Fire Emblem Heroes (FEH)|Game8 (76)

Valentine's Myrrh comes with an exclusive weapon in Loving Breath. This colorless dragonstone has a built-in Distant Counter effect, creates a large Atk stat swing by decreasing her foe's Atk and increasing her own, grants Res-based dmaage reduction and Special cooldown charges per attack, and provides post-combat healing to keep Myrrh healthy.

With a lot of useful defensive effects merged into one weapon, Valentine's Myrrh becomes a formidable tank unit that can hold it down for the team.

Darkling Dragon has built-in Far Save and prevents warping

Valentine's Myrrh's exclusive C skill Darkling Dragon grants Def/Res+6 and 【Warp Bubble】 to herself and either her support partner (if present) or to the ally with the highest Def within two spaces.

【Warp Bubble】 is a great effect that originated from Legendary Myrrh which prevents foes from warping into spaces within 4 spaces of the unit with this status effect. Skills like Assault Troop 3 or Wings of Mercy 4 become more difficult to utilize when this status effect is present!

In combat, Darkling Dragon slows down the foe's Special cooldown charges per attack, cuts the effectiveness of foe's non-Special damage reduction skills in half, and has a built-in Far Save effect that covers nearby allies from ranged attacks and grants Atk/Def/Res+4 to Valentine's Myrrh in combat.

This skill is what makes Valentine's Myrrh one of the best defensive tanks in the game, protecting allies from both attacks and from warping foes initiating surprise engagements.

Valentine's Myrrh Weaknesses

Weak to Armor Effective Weapons

Valentine's Myrrh takes 1.5x damage from armor-effective weapons like Slaying Hammer+, Randgríðr, or Thani, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Weak to Dragon Effective Weapons

Valentine's Myrrh takes 1.5x damage from dragon-effective weapons like Sealed Falchion or Divine Mist, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
