Quests are optional tasks that can be found on the quest board in towns. When you look at them, they are automatically added to the journal. Once they are accepted, the map will show a flag icon for the next objective of the quest. Some of the quests are marked urgent where you will need to complete them soon before you progress too far in the story. Not all quests in a town are available from the start, so you will need to revisit previous towns and recheck their quest board.

Soldier Wallace is in sitting the cafeteria and wants someone to purchase 3 Honey Potions from the item shop. He provides 120 Brittle Bones as funds. You can exchange the Brittle Bones for 12 Sturdy Bones from Goldsmith in the left shop. Then you can sell those for 300G, which is the exact amount needed to purchase the Honey Potions. Return to Wallace and hand him the potions. He mistakenly purchased Bitter Potions the other day and will give those as reward.

Goldsmith is on the bottom floor of the shop to the left of the inn. He wants to purchase 20 Iron Ores. Iron Ore drops from Cutro and can be harvested in the Casnan Mine. Once you have the ore, you can sell them to Goldsmith for 5000G or you can haggle the price. You can keep turning down his offer until it's 6250G. If you decline once more, the quest will be failed.

Ethan is located in the house to the left of the mayor's mansion. He is trying to fill out his notebook with signatures for each letter of the alphabet, but he is missing the letters Q, U, and Z. You will need to talk to three people in other towns to get them to sign the notebook.

• Quincy is in the shop to the right of the inn in the Frontier City of Casnan.
• Ursula is by the animals in Danan Village.
• Zara is near the quest board in Selray Village.

Once you have all three signatures, return to Ethan to complete the quest.

Yami is found in the magic laboratory where you can synthesize items and he needs one of each ingredient to brew a special elixir for a client.

Most of these items can be found as drops, but any missing items can be exchanged with more common materials. Raparo Fruit is the only one that can be found from harvesting.

Once you have everything, return to Yami and deliver the ingredients.

Explorer Pigeon is in the item shop. He got separated from his partner, Rabbit, in the Ashen Forest and is waiting in the village for her return. Even though he wants to help search for her, the party tells him to stay put. Warp to the monument in Ashen Forest: Outskirts and head to the Frogs' Inn. Rabbit is talking with some infatuated frog monsters. She tells them she can't stay and may come back and visit sometime. After saying goodbye, Rabbit confronts the party on why they came for her and she is upset that Pigeon wasn't searching for her himself. She takes one look at the party's map and insists she can find her way back to Danan Village. Return to Danan Village and talk to Pigeon again. Rabbit hasn't made it back and he explains how she has a bad sense of direction. Warp to the Forest of Spores monument and go to the camp. Rabbit is upset that she is lost and Pigeon is not there. This time she will go back with the party.
